Urgent Care for Adult Mental Health serves any adult (age 18 and older) experiencing a mental health crisis in Ramsey, Dakota and Washington Counties. Our recovery-focused urgent care offers walk-in services (no appointment necessary) including access to an on-site team of nurses, social workers, and trained peer support staff. Urgent Care for Adult Mental Health offers an alternative to visiting the emergency room when you or someone you care about is experiencing a mental health crisis. You can expect excellent, professional service in a caring, supportive environment.
There is a fee for Urgent Care Services. We bill insurance providers when available and offer a variety of payment options including an income based sliding fee scale. It is one of the first mental health urgent care centers of its kind in the nation.
Urgent Care for Adult Mental Health is managed by Ramsey County with funding from the Mental Health Crisis Alliance, a coalition of mental health leaders working to transform mental health crisis services for adults in the Twin Cities East Metro area.
